- My sister with polyarthritis since she was 10 years old.- Currently she has the inflammation of the spine , neck vertebrae degeneration, spinal curvature- Hip-joint: was stiff very long time ago, she cannot move
- Knees: inflammation and swelling
- Ankle: swelling and inflammation,
- Inflammation of the shoulder joint,
- Neck pain
She also has uveitis.
Doctors concluded patient needs total hip replacement. However each doctor give a different advice about the success of surgery and material of the artificial hip-joint. So she would like to know the advice from Raffles doctor about:
1) What is the surgery method? Estimated cost for the surgery and length of stay in Singapore?
2) What is the material of artificial hip-joint? Longevity of artificial hip-joint?
3) Because she is only 39 years old, in case she has to surgery one more time please advice for her this problem?
