Welcome to Mega-Conference on Biomedical Engineering
Following the last three successful International Conferences in 2005, 2007 and 2010 we organize the Fourth International Conference on the Development of Biomedical Engineering in Vietnam from January 8-12, 2012 in Ho Chi Minh City. This coming conference is special in comparison with the previous ones because of its spread and depth. Participants will have a chance to present their latest research results, and an opportunity for developing collaborations and exploring new initiatives. Vietnam is a dynamic country ready to integrate diverse technologies in the health sciences and to adopt international research and educational systems. Due to the prolonged war and life style, Vietnam offers unexplored and unique research topics, which may offer an unrivaled experience to international researchers and educators.

This international mega-conference regroups the Regenerative Medicine Conference, endorsed mainly by the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society (TERMIS); the Computational Medicine Conference, endorsed mainly by the Computational Surgery International Network (COSINE) and the Computational Molecular Medicine of German National Funding Agency; and the General Biomedical Engineering Conference, endorsed mainly by the International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering (IFMBE). The mega-conference will be kicked off by the Regenerative Medicine Conference (Jan 8-10, 2012) with the theme “BUILDING A FACE” USING A REGENERATIVE MEDICINE APPROACH”. It will be followed by the other two conferences (Jan 10-12).

We are glad to report that many renowned researchers in the fields have graciously accepted our invitation to be the keynote or guest speakers. This list is growing. You are invited to join us either as organizers of special interest sessions or individual presenters or auditors. We accept both oral and poster presentations. Please check the Call for papers, the deadlines, format for submission of one of the 3 conferences you want to submit your works. There is no limitation for the number of submission. You will be informed once we receive your abstract submission (please follow the required format). If it is accepted by the scientific committee you will be invited to submit the full-text paper which will be published in the IFMBE proceedings series by Springer or by Quintessence on Oral & Craniofacial Tissue Engineering Journal. At least one author per paper must be properly registered to attend the conference for the paper to be published. No double counting registration of one author for multiple papers is allowed.

Each conference will include specific tutorial sessions and be ended by the round-table meetings regrouping international experts who are interested in organizing and/or launching specific collaborative projects with us. Besides the scientific sessions we also organize the social events and tours to allow our international guests and their families to visit our beautiful country/regions and to explore our culture.

We are looking for sponsorship from corporations and professional societies. Your logos will be displayed on our official documents. We organize an exhibition area for corporate who want to display the products and materials during the conference. Please contact us.
